Our Eco Friendly & Sustainability

Since 1981, Nancy Craft Co’s , we have the opportunity to work towards a particular mission and values. And we are eager to focus on these principles towards a moral & economic success.

We believe that these are the key points to make our products sustainable thus our company carries good impact for our surrounding.

We are feeling thankful for the support from our weavers and workers in villages around us and with them to have the opportunity to create and produce millions of baskets and products and ship them to different parts of the world

Nancy Craft Co. believes in some aspects of the ethical values, such as in gender equality. The villagers and workers that we work with are both men and women, working in the scope of work they are best at. We offer the same opportunity & value for both with no discrimination. And for sure there is no child labor & forced labor in any form as it is prohibited. Health care is also another point that we are maintaining in our working condition, we provide good & healthy working space, and also health insurance.

We also have been grateful to be part of education programs for SME [Small Medium Enterprise]  around our factory with better entrepreneurial and business skills for them and we have proudly created a new division for this called Nancy Craft Co. IMPACT! This program have proven to improve women and young people businesses, their capacity, productivity and family welfare. Due to its positive impacts that are happening around our factory, we have been receiving invitations and doing actions to wider community for some part of  Indonesia.

Eco-Friendly is an important and core aspect of Nancy Craft Co’s values. First of all, the products that we create are handmade and based on sustainable natural raw material that is rattan and wood. In the production process, we use less water, less electricity, less waste and less chemical and no plastic material/packaging, in our production process.

Our rattan collection is colored using natural herbs mixture that we mixed. All ingredients and mixture process are very natural and it makes the color of our rattan baskets outstanding, beautiful and very sustainable products for your home.

For our wooden tableware product, we refuse to cut new trees to produce the order that we receive.We use the raw material we called forgotten wood. These are abandoned tree parts left by big industries so we use this to create beautiful and functional products. And our wooden tableware products have passed on the standard food grade finish for Europe and USA.

Sunshine is the great sustainable energy that we have abundantly and we use this in our production process as well as using the kiln dry machine to standardize the moisture content level in the final products.

On top of that, we have an in-house QC team for each stage in the production process. This is to maintain the end products up to our good and well known quality.

The above are only possible with the support and mutual successful relation with our customers around the world.  We are indeed sincerely looking forward to continuing and being able to enrich your beautiful collection in many years to come.  In regards to this, we are also continuing creating new collections with our in-house R&D team.  We enjoy experimenting and expressing our passion in natural material in functional beautiful forms and products.
